- Do you take a percentage of software fees?
- No. We are vendor-agnostic and never accept commissions, kickbacks, or referral fees from software providers. We are paid by you, work for you, and recommend what we'd recommend to ourselves.
- How is this different from a Big Four consulting engagement?
- We're senior operators, not pyramids of analysts. Engagements are led by people who have personally underwritten construction loans, run owner-side projects, and stabilized distressed builds. You get the partner on every call, not just the sales call.
- Will you build custom software for us?
- Yes — when the workflow demands it. We're not here to sell you a wrapper around ChatGPT or force-fit an off-the-shelf product that doesn't actually solve your problem. We target the specific, harder-to-reach steps in your operation where generic tools fall short. When custom work is the right answer, we scope it honestly and build it — or bring in vetted partners. When an existing tool genuinely fits, we'll say that too. We don't pad the bill with engineering you don't need, and we don't pretend shelfware fixes workflows it can't.
- How do you handle AI not being perfect?
- We assume it isn't. AI is excellent at pattern recognition, knowledge retrieval, and getting you 80–90% of the way there quickly. It is not a substitute for judgment. Every workflow we design keeps people in the loop to verify, refine, and approve — and we map where AI typically fails so we can build fail-safes before those failures cost you money.
